Effective 23 October 2026. Applies to the HSI Trend app for iPhone and Android.

In short: HSI Trend collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and we do not receive anything from your phone.

What the app downloads

The app downloads one file of public market figures (Hang Seng Index closes and Hong Kong market turnover) from sycheng0924.github.io, a website hosted by GitHub. The request contains nothing about you. As with any internet request, GitHub can see your device's IP address; GitHub's privacy statement covers that.

What the app stores

The last download, so the charts work offline, and your chart colour choice. Both are saved only on your device, in the app's own storage. None of it is sent anywhere.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, store or share personal data, and the app contains no third-party analytics or advertising code.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove everything it stored.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
